Last week Matt Baird, the lead singer of the band, Spoken dropped by skull church for a quick accoustic set. I had never met him before but he is a super cool guy.  Also, in the following pic he looks at least 79% tougher than I do.

Maybe it’s the tats or the screaming eagle on his shirt–maybe it’s just the crossed arms and the hardcore, non-smiling face that he chose. I have got to get better at taking tough guy pics!  I look like I am his accountant or something.    :)

Spoken has been around for a long time–13 years as a band, and they are currently on tooth and nail records. They were en route to creation fest in Washington, but Matt heard of skull church through a friend and we asked him to drop by. It was really chill–especially for a guy who is usually more screamo but people dug the music and I enjoyed meeting Matt.
