Summer Fruit

While it’s such a bummer to wrap up the 9-week “Off the Chain” series on Galatians, I’m excited to announce “Summer Fruit” begins this weekend at all of our locations! During “Off the Chain” we looked at the fruits of the Spirit from a 30,000 foot view. In this new series we will be taking a deeper look at those fruits listed in Galatians 5:22-23.

You can visit us at one of our campus locations across Montana, catch it live online, or on the radio. Details here. If you want to help ramp up excitement for this brand new series, and invite your friends, you can download promo images for your social media platform here!

“Through the Eyes of a Lion” Street Team

My prayer for those that read my book is that they see that God made them for a purpose. “Through the Eyes of a Lion” will hopefully hit home for those that have suffered any kind of loss – marriage, loved one, job, etc., but I want everyone who reads it to see the wild and wonderful calling on their lives. We each have a microphone in our hands, a platform we’ve been given.

How we rock that mic is up to us. I’m excited to announce the opportunity to use your personal platform to help me spread the message of this book to your sphere of influence. How? By being part of the “Through the Eyes of a Lion” street team. If you’re passionate about the message of the book, this is for you.

The street team will have a limited amount of spots – only 200, and there’s an application process. Those that get a spot on the team will receive exclusive insider content, early info and other bonus material I can’t even talk about yet! If you’re interested, you can apply here and will receive an email within two weeks if you’re chosen to fill one of those 200 spots. The deadline to apply is June 15th and you can email with any questions.

p.s. – If you haven’t pre-ordered the book yet you can do that here!

O2 Montana

I’m excited to announce our summer O2 Experience tour will be in the great state of Montana! We will be hitting Billings, Missoula and returning to Kalispell for the first time since 2011 with a fresh look at life, death, sex and romance this June. If you have a unique sphere of influence in your community and want to help promote these events email for details. If you’re a church or organization and want to get involved, check out for details and be sure to visit the promo pages for each location to download artwork, a promo video, social media images and more to help spread the word!

Through the Eyes of a Lion

Last fall, on what would have been Lenya’s seventh birthday, I shared with you that I’d written a book in her honor, called “Through the Eyes of a Lion.” Though I believe it will definitely help hurting hearts, regardless of what pain they have experienced, I didn’t set out to write a manual for grieving but a manifesto for a brand new kind of Holy Ghost powered, high-octane living. Through it I want you to see that God made you for a purpose. There is a wild and wonderful calling on your life, a microphone in your hands. Jesus wants you to look at the adventure of your life through His eyes, the eyes of a Lion.

I’m super excited to announce the “Through the Eyes of a Lion” preorder page is officially up on this shiny, brand new  site and we have some limited-edition swag for those who have already preordered or do so this week!  My buddy and super-talented tattoo artist Sid Stankovits designed a beautiful, hand-painted piece of flash art, incorporating themes from the book that can be used as mobile wallpaper, turned into a print, or whatever else you can think of doing with it.  The deadline to participate is May 27th! Follow instructions listed here to redeem your custom artwork once you preorder the book.

We’re filled with anticipation as we approach the first Skull Church of 2015 this Friday, April 3. (Which also happens to be Good Friday.) We ended 2014 on an exciting note with an incredible fall tour through Idaho, Montana and Washington and are kicking off this year returning to the Majestic Valley Arena, Northwest Montana’s largest venue, for the fifth consecutive year. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the night beginning at 7 p.m. You can join us live online that evening at, and if you’d like to spread the word and invite your friends, we’ve got promotional art available for download here.

Fresh Life Easter

On the heels of Skull Church Majestic, this Sunday, April 5 marks the fifth anniversary of Easter in the Majestic Valley Arena in the Flathead Valley (Kalispell and Whitefish), with Easter worship experiences also being held in Billings, Bozeman, Missoula and live online at This means we will be meeting in five cities across the state this Easter Sunday and in the Bible, five is the number of grace. We’re remembering the grace of God and His faithfulness as we’re trusting him with more Easter worship experience times than ever before. It Takes an Army

When I think back to this past weekend what comes to mind is Nehemiah 4:6 “So we built the wall. And all the wall was joined together to half its height, for the people had a mind to work.” When people are united in vision towards a common goal and energized by God’s Holy Spirit there is no limit to what can be achieved. Easter weekend 2014 at Fresh Life is living proof of that to me!

In the history of our church we have never pulled off a larger, more intense, or more complicated event than this. Since opening our 6th campus in Bozeman 6 weeks ago we now have a lot of moving pieces: musicians and manpower all over Montana, rented venues in 3 cities, more complicated than normal streaming demands and in Kalispell we are in the largest facility in town, a rodeo arena to convert into a church. And lemme tell you, it takes an army!

And that’s exactly what we have. An army. A ton of fully caffeinated, dedicated and passionate, microphone rocking fresh lifers who have a mind to work. Filled with the Spirit and in one accord. It is staggering to watch God bless our unity by causing the oil to flow as our sails and souls are filled. Best of all, as we let down our nets at skull church and fresh life Easter we saw people respond to Jesus all across the state!
