2. This book made me happy and sad. It is some of the most sublime, melancholy, beautiful, hopeful, and stirring writing I have ever read. If I live to write 100 books, I hope I can ever manage a paragraph or two that makes people feel the bittersweet nostalgia that Christopher De Vinck crammed into every essay in this book. Poetry. 

3. Never be without a way to open a Top Chico. And this one involves a grizzly bear. Win-win. 

4. I got so tired of my garden hose being on the ground but didn't want some big absurd thing with a crank. Here is the solution I landed on. Nice and simple, and keeps it off the ground.
